Who it's for

  • βœ” There's a keyboard at home that nobody quite knows how to use
  • βœ” Your child loves music and you want to see if lessons would stick
  • βœ” You always wished you'd learned an instrument yourself

Heads up: Not a full exam syllabus. For graded exams, pair it with a teacher.

What you'll get

  • 🌟 Keeping a steady beat and copying rhythms by ear
  • 🌟 Every white key named and a five-finger position in both hands
  • 🌟 Simple tunes played hands together, slowly and without stopping
  • 🌟 Reading basic notes in treble and bass clef

The fun part: together

  • 🀝 Clap rhythms back and forth like a call-and-response game
  • 🀝 Learn β€œTwinkle Twinkle” at the same time and play it as a duet
  • 🀝 Be the audience for a weekly mini-concert

    Questions parents ask

Do we need a real piano? οΌ‹

No. A basic keyboard with full-size keys is plenty for the early stages.

Can this work for other instruments? οΌ‹

The rhythm and reading stages carry over; the note-finding steps are piano-specific but editable.
